Bought by John Sontag in 1867. Storm's first hardware store occupied the first floor until removal to Storm Building. George Eckenroth and his widow operated bakery in the basement. Photograph shows the jewelry store of W.E. Hotchkiss and Wautoma Telephone Office. Building is believed by some to be where the Great Fire of 1901 began.
