History

In 2005 Wautoma celebrated her 150th birthday. The celebration began with a garden walk in the Spring, continued with our annual July 4th celebration, Augustfest (always the 2nd Saturday in August) where we had an unofficial jail for those couples caught kissing on the street, men without facial hair, or women showing their ankles, an antiques appraisal fair, and culminated with our first ever HarvestFest.
